The MCHS Varsity Softball State Champs were given rings commemorating their achievement at the varsity football game on October 21, 2011 during halftime.

The Settlers' Days Prince and Princess Contest was held at MCHS on Thursday October 6. The Prince and Princess were crowed by Larissa Pfeiffer, 2011 Settlers' Days Queen.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, MCHS played the North Boone Vikings in a volleyball tournament.  The name of this year's event was "Dig for the Cure."

About 60 local and surrounding area seniors participated in a "Carving Event" on August 17, 2011 as part of Good O’ Café; at the Nature Center in the Marengo Park District. Good O’ Café is run by The Salvation Army, and offers meals and activities for senior citizens age 60 and over.  Photos by Michelle Gibbons
